This is Seattle's Youth Symphony's Benji Bae, an extremely talented young man.
Benji recently preformed in the Bellevue Philharmonic concert series and needed a few head shots for the program. I don't normally get to photograph musicians and I was thrilled at the opportunity. I love working with babies but it is nice to get to listen to some classical music inseatd of crying for a change. Benji will shortly be auditioning at all the major music conservatories and universities I am sure he will have his pic as to where he studies. Look for him in the next few years at a concet hall near you.
Those shots are great, Emily! He looks like an intense player - I love the first shot with his eyes closed. It's like he's in rapture with his instrument and we get to peek! Beautiful!
